Info for Educators
Easy Graph helps you track and visualize student academic and behavioral progress fast, clear, and private.
What it is
- A simple web app for making professional charts to monitor progress over time.
- Built for K–12 educators: teachers, specialists, and school psychologists.
- Runs in your browser. Your data stays on your device.
Why it’s safe to use
- 100% local storage: All student data is saved in your browser’s localStorage on your device. No accounts, no cloud.
- You control export and backup: Download CSVs, chart images, PDF reports, and a full backup at any time.
What you can do
- Create students and multiple charts per student (academic skills, behaviors).
- Add data points one-by-one or via calendar batch entry.
- Set multiple goals and aim lines; track trends across intervention phases.
- Export data: CSV, chart images, and PDF reports for meetings.
- Backup/restore all data to move between devices or safeguard your work.
Getting started (2 minutes)
- Open the homepage and click “Get Started”.
- Add a student, then “Create New Chart.”
- Enter data points and notes.
- Set goals and trend lines to visualize progress.
- Export as needed (CSV/image/PDF) from the individual chart, or “Backup All Data” on the dashboard.
Tips for successful use
- Name charts clearly (e.g., “Reading Fluency – Weekly 3rd Grade WPM”).
- Add brief notes with data points to capture context.
- Use goals to show targets and trend lines to reflect intervention periods.
- Extend previous intervention trendlines as needed for comparison.
- Back up regularly, especially before updating or changing devices.
Limitations to know
- No cloud sync or logins: this is by design for privacy.
- Data lives in your browser’s storage; clearing browser data erases it.
- Always keep your own backups (“Backup All Data” in the app) in a safe and secure location.
